No good at this blog stuff

As you can see I'm not good at this blog thing. I would like to learn how to blog better but can't seem to ever find the time. I have been working on several projects and need to take pictures of them all before mailing them out so if I can figure that out I'll post the pictures. I just wanted to say hello to everyone and let I'm still her just more of a visitor of blogs than a creator of one.

I got two more Valentines in the mail yesterday ....

I was so excited when I opened my mailbox yesterday. I received two more Valentines and boy are they cute! Thank you!

Also I wanted to share a few of the gifts my wonderful husband gave me for Valentines Day!!

I thought this was the most thoughtful thing that he has bought me. To know that he read it and thought of me!! I love you Mike........

I just wanted to share with everyone all the great "goodies" that I received from two swaps that I participated in. I know it took a while but I finally got around to downloading the pictures. The first swap that I was in was "My Vintage Heart Valentine" and my swap partner was Laura from http://beelicioushandhandbags.blogspot/

Laura is a super sweet person and very talented with the sewing machine! I was fortunate enough to receive one of her aprons plus some other fabulous goodies but most importantly I gained a new friend and isn't that what this is all about? It is for me! Thank you again Laura........

The second swap that I participated in was "My Valentine Swap" which was a swap where you made 14 Valentines and received 14 in return. I can't tell you how excited I was everyday to rush home and open the mailbox to see what arrived in the mail for me! I loved each and every one and was amazed at all the talent and creativity these ladies had. Thank you all very much!!

My baby turned 16 .......

My baby turned 16 yesterday and I'm still in shock. I can't believe how quickly the time goes. It seems it was just the other day we were playing with Bratz dolls and having birthday parties for her dog Balto! Yes, we gave our stuffed animals birthday parties. Any excuse to have cake!! Happy birthday Tyler I love you with all my heart.......

Wishing everyone a "Happy Valentines Day"......

I just wanted to thank everyone for all the wonderful Valentines that were sent to me. These two Swaps were my first to participate in and I was just overwhelmed with all the creativity and beautiful work that was put into them all. I haven't yet received all of my Valentine goodies but as soon as I do I am going to post pictures of them and brag about them all!! My computer at home is still down so I have to wait to post or comment everyone when I get to work. So please be patient with me and I promise it will be as soon as I can and I'm trying to post more frequently.
I would like to make one comment regarding my Vintage Heart Swap partner. Her name is Laura Garrett and her blog spot is http://beelicioushandbags.blogspot.com. If you LOVE aprons of all sorts you must go and check her out she also has a ETSY account! She is a super sweet person and it feels like I've been reunited with a long lost friend. Feeling a little under the weather .........

Once again I've managed to catch the cold bug and boy do I wish I were at home

in my pj's. Instead I'm here at work with the snuffles and probably driving everyone

around me crazy. I was suppose to go scrapbooking with the girls this weekend but so far its not looking to good. I don't think that I'd accomplish much if I went do to not being able to breath and my head feeling like a ballon ready to pop!! I'm thinking a big bowl of homemade soup and some medicine sounds good right now.

A new found website!

Sunday afternoon movie .......

Sunday afternoon us girls went to see Bride Wars. It was a great "Chick Flick" and we enjoyed it alot. It seems that we have made Sunday the offical "Chick Flick movie day". After church we head out to the movies and then out to eat and we always seem to end up eating at Cracker Barrel. I always enjoying eating here its relaxing, the food is good and it has that homey feel to it. The day was rather cold so the big fire place was going inside and good old country music was playing in the background. Thanks for going with me again Mom, Aunt Sandra, Kari and Karson.

We have been playing the Wii for several days straight now and I have to admit that my son Conner is a bowling fool. So far he is reigning champion at our house but I'm not sure how long he will hold his title. DH is determined to take his title away at all costs. In fact I believe as of yesterday DH's shoulder was giving him some grief. I believe that it had something to do with the hundreds of games of bowling he played the night before with no prevail. Conner is still the CHAMPION!!!

Happy New Year everyone!!

Another year has come and gone and I'm still sitting here scratching my head wondering where on earth the time has gone. A full year has gone and still so many things left undone. I'm hoping that this year will be different and I will become a little more organized, OK a lot more organized and knock a few "to do's and I want to's" off my list. I would list them for you all but the list would be never ending. One thing that I want to do is master this blog business. I read all the wonderful blogs and dream of mine looking as nice and interesting but somehow I get on here and get very discouraged. I also would like to start participating in some of the fun blogger swaps, see I'm not even sure if that's the correct term!! Anyway, I guess you can tell that one of my to do's is to get more involved in the blog world because there are so very many talented and nice people out there. Wish me luck and again Happy New Year!!

Croptober Fest!! YEA

As you can tell by the sign above this girl has somewhat of a "scrapbooking" addiction. October is going to be a fun filled month for me. First and most importantly the 23rd is my BIRTHDAY!! Secondly its the month for scrapbooking! What a great combination,right? lol
I've been invited to a crop almost every weekend in October the 11th,18th and 25th so far. Though I'm crazy excited I do worry about breaking the news to the DH for some reason he doesn't share my love for scrapbooking. Well I decided that I would remind him first that October is my birthday and that I have the perfect present in mind for myself that doesn't require any shopping !! Well he was thrilled about not having to go out and fight the mall but was not so thrilled when I told him that it would require me being gone every Saturday for nearly the entire month of October. Needless to say negotiations are still in the works!! Wish me luck girls!!

I just love Lucy and I thought this looked alot like me and my husband when I ask for money. Now, trying to explain why I just "have" to have that bottle of pink sparkly German glass!!!

And this is one that shows the excitement of hearing the mail truck!! As I said before I'm new to this blog stuff so if something doesn't look just right just remember I'm blog challenged!! I'm hopeing to post some of my artwork on here soon so please comeback.......Thank you!!

eblogger trouble !!

Here I am still trying to figure this eblogger stuff out !! ugh Not sure why I can't get it but give me some time and hopefully I'll get it up and going. I am so inspired by all the beautiful blogs that I see I just hope that I can get this thing working!! I am so excited about joining them in their adventures!!
